Leofoto SA rifle tripods
Lightweight and stable carbon tripods are becoming increasingly popular, and not just among photographers and nature observers. Hunters and sport shooters also appreciate the advantages of this material and its transportable weight.
That is why Leofoto has developed the SA series, a range of tripods specially designed for shooters. The biggest advantage of these tripods is the combined mount for weapons with a Picatinny rail and for plates with Arca-Swiss standard.
SA-403C Rifle Tripod
This tripod offers a maximum load capacity of 25 kg. It can be adjusted from a position close to the ground at a height of 16 cm up to a height of 160 cm. The height can be changed quickly using the twist locks. The three segments offer amazing stability.
The tripod legs can be adjusted individually to three different angles: 23°, 55° and 85°. This allows the tripod to be quickly adapted to uneven terrain. The rubber feet can be easily replaced with the spikes supplied.
Rifle mount MA-30
The MA-30 joint offers a generous swivel range in all directions, making it easy to track passing game. The integrated spirit level helps with horizontal alignment of the weapon. Weapons with a Picatinny rail on the fore-end or an Arca Swiss adapter plate can be mounted. The 30 mm diameter ball provides sufficient stability even for large and fast-moving calibres.
Unlike the MA-30, the MA-30L has a quick-release lever and only one small clamping screw for pre-tensioning. This allows the weapon to be removed even more quickly and minimises the risk of accidental release.
100% carbon
All Leofoto carbon tripod legs are made of 10-layer carbon material. This promises high stability with low weight and, in addition, high corrosion resistance.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
