Leofoto FDM spotting scope mounts
These holders are designed to mount and align two or more different optics in parallel on a tripod. Typical applications would be, for example:
- Long-range shooters: spotting scope & rangefinders
- Hunters: binoculars & thermal imaging camera
- Birdwatchers: spotting scope and camera

The holder itself can be mounted on any Arca-Swiss clamp. Thanks to various tripod threads, it can also be mounted on any other tripod head.
The Leofoto FDM-05 mounting plate can be folded up compactly for transport. Numerous 1/4" and 3/8" threads offer an incredible number of options for attaching additional accessories. See also the various application examples.
A short arm can be extended on both sides to vary the distance between the individual optics and provide optimal access to all controls. It has a maximum width of 210–345 mm and weighs 530 grams. When folded, the dimensions are just 100 x 144 mm.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
