The tilt adaptors of the HS series are tripod heads for tilting the centre column of Leofoto Ranger LS tripods.
The centre column is simply removed from the tripod and the HS tilt adapter is screwed on in its place. The centre column can then be mounted on the tilt adapter using the clamp. This clamp is non-slip and equipped with a convenient quick-release fastener.
The number XY in the item name HS-XY indicates the diameter of the centre column for which the tilt adapter clamp is suitable.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
