Central column with crank GC-404C for Mountain & Summit

Thanks to its gear crank, it is possible to adjust the height of this central column very precisely. It is suitable for all Leofoto tripods with a removable tripod plate with a Ø of 100 mm. If heavy cameras sit on normal central pillars or on the mounted ball head, it is usually not very easy to change the height exactly by the desired little thing. The solution to the problem is this specially designed central column! With one full turn of the crank, the height increases or decreases by 14 mm.

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
