The Leofoto LS-255CEX belongs to the Ranger series and has a maximum working height of 140 centimeters. Unique to this Ranger tripod is the leveling base, which makes the tripod ideal for panoramic recordings and videographers. The length when folded is 45 centimeters and the minimum working height is 8.3 centimeters. This Ranger tripod with a leveling base has a load capacity of 6 kilograms and weighs 1.03 kilograms itself. The tripod comes with a leveling base, a carrying case, a multitool and spikes. The included Leofoto Panoramic tripod head Panorama plate RH-0 + quick release plate NP-50 allows horizontal swivelling and is equipped with a swivel plate.
Thanks to the non-slip rubber twist locks, each individual leg segment can be quickly and easily loosened and secured. The leg segments slide smoothly without twisting in the slightest.
The tripod legs are equipped with rubber feet with metal kern , which can be replaced by spikes. These pointed metal feet are included in the scope of delivery. This allows you to adapt the tripod to the respective application.
The legs of this tripod are made of 10 layers of carbon fibre. The special diamond-shaped winding of these layers provides additional stability and vibration damping with the lowest possible weight!
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
The attractive carrying bag is water-repellent and equipped with an adjustable shoulder strap.
