Tripod ball-head LH-40PR with double panoramic plate and locking function

The LH-40PR ball head has a load capacity of 20 kilograms. This is achieved by the large ball diameter of 40 millimetres, which is manufactured with a tolerance of 0.01 millimetres. This allows the ball head to move even heavy loads easily and clamp them securely. The ball head itself weighs only 630 grams.

The base diameter of the ball head is 57 millimetres, and it connects to the tripod via a 3/8-inch photo thread.

The special feature of the PR model is the panorama plate with quick-release coupling and integrated locking function.

The side lever allows you to set whether the turntable has a noticeable lock after 10°, 20°, 36° or 45°, or whether it can be rotated 360° completely without resistance.

Additional features:

• The ballhead can be rotated 360° at its base and on the clamp.
• The clamp is released using a large ergonomic rotary knob.
• The clamping resistance can be adjusted as required.
• Two protrusions are available for swivelling up to 90°.

The ballhead is equipped with an Arca-Swiss standard clamp and a quick release plate.

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
